The composite is made up of several photos, lots of airbrushing and a rendered Audi. The car was a simple scanline render that looked horrible, so I thought I better jazz it up.

The image is broken down into different sections, starting with the top, the upper clouds were taken from a few photographs of Caribbean skies. The far-away clouds, were 6 photos stiched together and stamped. The sea was taken from a photo and repainted and stamped. The beach was part painted/part from photo. The tyre tracks were airbrushed and the cliffs inserted from another image, taken in the South of England.

All in all, I was happy with the final image, especially considering the poor quality car render.

I have been gradually modelling the gallardo for the last month, being one of my favourite cars. It is my first car in 3d, but have spent time to create it instead of diving in head first. I used Max Scanline renderer, and photoshop just to touch it up a bit. It's my first HDRI lit project and was lit in a similar way to some lamborghini offical photos I saw of a concept car. Comments welcome, good and bad
Thanks
